Frequently Asked Questions
Do you have
original paintings for sale? Yes. All the paintings are original and come with a dated hand
signed guarantee of authenticity. If you have a subject in mind I may
already have a painting to fit your requirements. Or you can commission
your own painting of a subject of your choice.
Are your paintings expensive? You will be surprised how affordable
original paintings can be. Prices and terms are negotiable and reflect
the medium, the size and the degree of content.
Do you undertake commissions of any
subject? Yes. All
subjects considered from cars to nudes.
Is it difficult to commission a painting over
the internet? No
working with you over the internet is not a problem.
What do I have to do to commission
a painting? When you
have decided on a subject or theme email with what you have in mind and
if possible include any measurements, photos and colour
samples/suggestions you think might be helpful. Photo references can be
accepted via email in JPEG, GIF, TIFF, BMP, PSD or PSP files or in PDF
format, or they may be posted. Please be sure to include: Your preferred
medium (acrylic, watercolour, etc), an indication of the size and a
contact address/email or telephone number.
Is the cost of framing included?
All pictures are priced
unframed. Framing can be arranged.
How do I pay? Payment by cheque, cash or money order. Shipping & handling
to be paid by the purchaser, insurance extra (delivery free in the
London area). For commissions once we have agreed a price and content
you will be required to pay 15% of the full amount. The balance of the
price is usually required on delivery and acceptance of the final
